Can anyone answer the following questions please... What has been happening with the planned komodo dragon enclosure at Adelaide Zoo, it was supposed to be a re-vamp of the current baboon enclosure... Where did the siatanga at Adelaide Zoo go, it was replaced by the bongo a few years ago..
There are still plans to obtain Komodo dragons and dhole but the plans are being held off for a while, mainly because of the difficulty in obtaining the species and all the money they have spent on the pandas and new entrance.
What wll happen when the pandas go? Will there exhibit be re-designed for komodo dragons or another Asian species or replaced entirely?
The zoo will try to keep the pandas as long as possible but from what I have heard it may be redesigned for gorillas, but that is from what I have heard.
