Three male white-tailed tree rats or antsangies arrived at London Zoo from Chester Zoo in March 2020.

@Dassie rat A lovely addition! Do you know if they're on show - in the Clore maybe?

    Great news :)
They are still off-show, probably. Do someone knows, if the ones in Nürnberg can be seen?

With a lot of luck, preferably early or late on the day. Their second pair also went on-show in the giraffen house recently.

On-show according to their Facebook, just a shame that the collection is nigh on impossible to reach by public transport...

And pretty damn out of the way even if you have a car :p

Here's hoping they have settled in a little more, and gotten a tad more showy, once my postponed return to the collection is possible once again......

Oh no, hopefully you can make it there soon. Was there a particular thread that inspired your choice to visit...? :D

I really did entertain thoughts of visiting, but it's so out of the way and with nothing local to double it up with I don't think it's ever likely to happen. So close yet so very far away...

What a bloody strange place to get Striped Weasels though!

I agree and I was happy when I learned the owner took the effort to import them from the Philippines, but knowing the source of the birds and some of their management choices I am not completely surprised by this outcome.

I’m rather sure that Leipzig’s plans to exhibit billies fell through, as they already had plushies in the gift shop in 2018, which would suggest that they were planned to arrive soon after, but that just never came:(

Red-shanked douc langurs arriving at Beauval from Khao Kheow in Thailand hasn't been mentioned yet I don't think.
