    The zoo will be open again from 10am to 4pm this weekend (3rd and 4th March) as part of the traditional Lambing weekend...

    From Monday 2nd April until Friday 13th April... 10am until 4pm

    Do you mean Monday 2nd April?

    Or Saturday 31st March?

    The zoo is opening Sunday 13th May as part of the annual college open day

    Yes will be leaving for the place in about 30 minutes,sorry didn't reply yesterday was too busy zoo visiting!!

    I was there too... Well, at the end of the drive anyway. When I saw the huge queue of cars and vast number of people, I decided a beautiful nearby garden would be a lot more relaxing!

    Sorry for short notice - zoo is open this weekend (9th/10th March) as part of the lambing. 10am until 4pm

    Zoo is open tomorrow (Sat 27th April) as a one off in honour of world tapir day....

    A young female Capybara is on the loose in Nantwich after escaping from Reaseheath at the end of last week. The youngster was in quarantine after recently arriving when she managed to break out... anyone local who spots the escapee is asked to ring the college

    1.1 Black Lemur (mother and son) arrived from Exmoor

    0.3 Capybara were also moved to Drayton Manor earlier in the Summer

    "We'd like to introduce you to one of our newest residents. He may look like a snake, but he's actually a Legless Lizard; Scheltopusik.
    The main features which set this species apart from snakes are their eye lids and ear holes (which snakes don't have) and the remnants of hind limbs which are now just small bumps on the body.
    We think our students will love him, you can find him in Reptile Room 1!"
