If you can't see their face, then it's generally okay. Similarly, if the people are in the background and the image is sufficiently blurred that you wouldn't be able to identify individuals in the crowd, it's also probably okay.

Are we allowed to make a post which includes photos that other zoochatters have uploaded to the gallery, as long as we give them credit for the photos? For example, if I was writing a zoo review, could I put other zoochatters' photos in the review as a visual reference for what the zoo looks like? And would it still be okay to do this, even if I have not received express permission from those zoochatters beforehand? I am assuming this is ok, and I feel like I've seen people do this before, but I wanted to be completely certain, since I didn't see anything about photo credit in the site rules.

Yes, I consider anything uploaded to the gallery to be fair game for use in discussion threads on ZooChat - and yes, you should credit the original uploader - just linking to the image in the gallery would be good enough on the credit side of things.

If you look at the gallery page, there are five pre-built options available for sharing the media item:

    Here's what they look like:

    Share Page:

    Share BB Code:

    Share BB (With Thumbnail) Code:

    Share BB [GALLERY] Code:

    - - - - - - -

It's up to you how you use the image in your thread, but I suggest either using the last "Gallery" option, which takes care of both the image and the link to the source for you (but doesn't fill the full page width on a desktop device), or alternatively, use a combination of the "Share BB Code" and "Share Page" to embed the image and then link to it:

Many of us do this on occasion or even reguarly, and indeed all the photographic guides are built on this concept. Long as credit is given then not a problem.

Is a photo that includes minors acceptable if one of the minors is me, the other two minors are relatives who I am still on good terms with in the present day, and none of us are minors now?

No - we make no exceptions to the "no minors" rule, sorry.
