Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle has a building called the "Day Exhibit", which was built in 1969 and was originally called a Tropical House. In 1974 a nocturnal wing was added and thus eventually the two areas were known as the "Day & Night" buildings. Now that the nocturnal house is no longer operational (as of 2010) the "Day Building" remains open and within its walls can be found almost exclusively reptiles and amphibians. There are 38 exhibits in the Woodland Park Zoo “Day Exhibit” building.
