No red-ruffed lemur or black-footed cat in the Conservation Outpost? They'll frequently shift around and co-exhibit the New World species or have certain ones off exhibit on certain days (taking down their signage as well), but I've never seen either of those not on display. If I recall correctly there's 11 exhibits in the cave, so I assume three of them were empty on your visit?

Glad they're bringing the armadillo back out, at least. I think it's been over a year since I've seen him.

Looking at photos I took, there were actually 2 separate Golden Lion Tamarin enclosures, and I believe 2 Saki ones as well. I should also note that the Binturong enclosure was largely covered up with non-transparent plastic as it looked like it is/was under construction, and its at least possible that part of the covered up area that I thought was the Binturong habitat might have actually been a totally different enclosure. In either event, whatever may have been inside was definitely not on exhibit nor was there any signage for it. That doesn't necessarily mean its gone from the collection, just that it wasn't there on my visit.

The binturong enclosure is probably twice the size of any of the others in the cave, so you probably gauged it right. And two saki and tamarin enclosures (sometimes shared with each other and/or the sloths) is pretty much the norm, I think, at least since they freed up space when they lost their tree kangaroo and Brazilian porcupine.

The black-footed cats are typically about halfway down, and the red-ruffs would be on the far end opposite the binturong. The zoo used to be really good about promptly removing species from their website, but as of it looks like last September they've removed just about everything besides their most ABC species... I'm really curious now. Maybe I can swing a trip this weekend, it's been a while.

They could be off breeding, they still had howler monkeys after they werent on display. Its crazy to think though that binturong habitat held nd even bred jaguar plus servals in the past.
