Beyond HMW are there any good rodent books covering most taxa? Ideally with some ecology per species or genus.
the obvious one is Walker's, although it pretty much covers genera only (apart for listing the species in each genus). I've never seen any others.
David Alderton wrote 'Rodents of the World' (Rodents of the World: Amazon.co.uk: David Alderton, Bruce Tanner: 9780713725063: Books). It has many photographs, but these represent a limited number of species. It covers various aspects about rodents, but only has a short chapter about different families.
