    PETA does the crazy thing by suing a zoo photographer in an effort to protect the copyright of some photos taken by a monkey.

    Small point #1: the macaque which took the photos is not in a zoo, it is a wild animal.

    Small point #2: PETA may not be the intellectual giants I thought they were...

    The notion of copyright theft itself is absurd. If I have not deprived someone of something it is not theft.
