2 African Lions were born at the start of the year, they are a male and a female named Zazu and Nala. On May 18th, a Griffon Vulture chick was born. On March, a dromedary camel and a zebra were born.
It's my favourite zoo in Madrid. Every year they make new exhibitions. Recently they made a new crocodile area and a new elephant viewing area outside the safari I think they are building a new iberian wolf exhibition
I'd say that Safari Madrid is the only good safari park in Spain (I don't consider Selwo Aventura a safari park, since you don't drive thru the exhibit unless you pay extra).
Hi Guys, I trying to build a katanga lions in europe database. In Safari Madrid there should be many. Based on their Facebook they have: MASAI, MARA, ZAZU, NALA, SIMBA, MATILDE, ANTONIO, FIN, AMY. Can anyone confirm that? And if you have any details about them that would be amazing. Best!
