Since there's been no updates to a previous thread concerning this, I thought I'd start another. The Safari Park - Open Zoo in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, has an excellent volunteer program that was enacted several months ago and has been making positive changes since. Their website can be found at Safari Park Volunteer Initiative - Safari Park Volunteer Initiative - Bophlo Kanchanaburi, Thailand and their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SafariVolunteer. Improvements include the addition of enrichment, better management & maintenance - including actually cleaning habitats, which was hardly if ever done previously - the installation of new habitats, and the rehabilitation and release of a Spotted Owl. To fundraise for a new big-cat facility to house more than a handful of quickly growing Tiger, Leopard, and Lion cubs, a Pawprint Project has been created. All proceeds from these unique & authentic paw prints go towards building the new complex. General donations can be made through their website or Facebook page. All interest and support for this project is much appreciated. Go Team SPOZAC!
