I'm watch the BBC news report now and Gill has claimed he was treated unfairly by the zoo inspectors.Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
Maybe he wants to make sure that his remaining Facebook supporters know that he is not what he pretends to be, so everybody has the same ideas about his reputation

Leaving them with three Tigers - a pair of siblings (1.1) and another female who is a direct cousin of the other two
His has already ended. It is a battle from the rear with no reputation (that has been destroyed by himself ... mostly). With false pretense and no convincing zoo expertise he is a lost cause (already) and with the new management now running SL (and having secured the licence) it is a definite goner for him.
The only reputation he has ever had is a bad one , entirely created by himself. But his ego is so inflated that he thinks he is always right, the trouble is south lakes will find it hard to move on properly with that joker lurking in the back ground, the best thing he can do is emigrate and do us all a favour.
From facebook: On the 4th April 2017 2 year old Catalina our Jaguar left Safari Zoo to join her new male studbook pairing Mato at Zoo de Bordeaux-Pessac in France. Our keepers are delighted to see her settling in and getting to know Mato a little better.
How very true,as for the emigrate he is slowly discounting himself from going anywhere else in the world as he cannot go back to Australia, and he is now blocked from the USA due to his criminal record!!!
