    Majorca's not in the Canary Islands. It's one of the Balearic islands in the Mediterranean :)

    Thanks for the correction :eek: have shifted the thread into Europe General because we don't appear to have a forum for Majorca/Balearic Islands yet

    As are the Canary Islands.

    I also don't understand why the Middle East is with Africa when it is part of Asia.

    The spanish press has reported that the male chimpanzee Adam was found drowned in a water treatment plant. Adam had avoided capture from the spanish police and Guardia Civil for at least 3 days. He must have been very thristy and slipped in a large pool where he was found dead. Various groups are asking that the safari park be closed for criminal neglience. Eve, the female chimp was shot down a few hours after the escape. This all a very lamentable event.

    Any idea what the current state of affairs is with the park in general.
    I had thought it was a little bit on the up after years of ... (???). :confused:
