    The giraffe exhibit has recently undergone renovation, now featuring access to live trees for browse, an enrichment tree, and a specially-designed chute for weighing, training, and performing veterinary procedures.

    The pregnancy of black rhino Kati Rain has been announced, and she is due any day. The father is Ajabu.

    A beautiful fruit dove hatched March 29.

    The calf is a male, and was born May 18. It has been named Moyo.

    But all seriousness hopefully they can get this sorted out. Is it just me, or has there a decrease of TB in captive elephants? Or are they just not being reported for fear of negative publicity?
