The Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo is situated on the outskirts of Bangkok. It has been established since 1950 and claims to have the largest number of crocodiles in the world as well as the largest crocodile 'Yai' too. There is an unconventional zoo attached. You really will see things here you will see nowhere else. Its expertise in crocodilians has given it a role in conservation and research. It could hardly be described as a good zoo, quite the opposite, but it does have its moments.
