Really liking this thread, it gives you a good idea of just how diverse the collection really is. It is nice to see that they still display such a magnificent variety of birds, many of which are very rare in US zoos these days.

This aviary had a Ruff Sandpiper in it when I was there in late December last year, no longer?

There was no signage for Ruff Sandpipers, but I will look over my photos to see if one was present.

I believe it was signed when I was there, if no longer it may not be around now.

There is an exhibit across from the Fennec fox, behind some bushes, that used to have Squirrel monkeys that now has 3 Canadian Lynx cubs.

I did take notice of this enclosure, and I saw the one of the Lynx, but it was under renovation and had a badly placed fence in front of it (the reason why I could see what was held in the enclosure.) So I didn't list it.

Ok, the fence was placed there to help the lynx acclimate to their new exhibit. It has been removed.

Something I noticed going through it again, there's no mention of Saddle-billed Stork. I saw one in the waterfowl pond back by Eagle Trail in late December last year, was it not signed or seen? There's a Saddlebill on the map on that pond.

There was no signage, and I did not see one, so my guess is that there isn't one anymore.
Thank you for that info, it was getting dark when I went into the aviary and I hadn't been on all the levels, so I may have missed a sign.

Black billed magpie seems like an odd choice. Are they representative of an extinct species there? Are the elephant species rotated or is it a mixed exhibit? The concept of that exhibit is interesting, for as much hate as it gets. It just seems that there are some odd species choices in it. Are the pronghorn of the Peninsular variety? Didn't they used to also have bison in this exhibit?
