If I recall correctly there was a bird show in the Hunte Amphitheater, but I never actually saw a show there,so I cannot say with certainty.

Judging by other images on the internet of the amphitheater, yes, that would appear to be it. It doesn't look quite like the Safari Park's amphitheater does,so that would most likely be it.

They had a general animal show where they would bring out several animals and discuss their adaptations, natural history, etc. The animals did behavioral demonstrations like a serval jumping or an emu running around the stage. I think the same basic program now happens behind the scenes at the old elephant exhibit. They have transformed it from a public show into an upcharge experience that you pay extra for.

You mean the backstage pass I believe, correct? I did it on my visit 2015 and its worth the additional fee. Very cool experience.

That is correct. You experienced what was once in the now-closed amphitheater.

Hi Everyone, I apologize if this post is not in the appropriate place, but I thought this would be the most relevant thread, I'm working on an app for zoo visits. I'm often frustrated when I go to a zoo, see an animal and they have no information about it other than the scientific name, and sometimes not even that. Also, very few zoos have official apps, the San Diego zoo has an app, but it is a children's game.

So I created Zoo Nerd, and loaded San Diego zoo animals into it (And Colorado Springs since my sister lives there). I would consider it in the concept phase still because I think it has some obvious flaws that need to be overcome, but I would appreciate any feedback, seriously, any feedback. I'd like to see if my impression on what needs fixed matches up with others. I'm also interested overall if you'd find it useful. It is android only on the google play store, you can get it on the link below or just type in Zoo Nerd in google play search. It is free but does have an ad.

    Thanks, Jacob

Thank you for clairifying this! I assumed that it was a goner. I loved the Australian Acrobatic show that was held here. 'Soaring Over Australia' perhaps?

Nessuno sa per certo in questo momento. Si può cercare di indovinare, ma nessuno lo sa.

Nobody knows for sure right now. You can try to guess, but nobody knows.
