    In 2016 they had 29, according to their site. Indeed, the largest number in North America. By all appearances they still have them, the number could be higher now even.

    4 were sent to Miami and 3 to Bronx (might have flipped those numbers) since then. I am not sure if they have bred more since then though, although I know this is a focal species for the safari park.

    I figured some had probably gone elsewhere. I'd assume they're still doing well, unfortunately they're off exhibit so we have a harder time keeping track of them. Given they have been one of the few successful breeders in North America I'd assume they'd attempt breeding dhole as long as they have space.
