I haven't been into this place before but was at the pier today and went passed the seaquarium and saw that two members of staff had two snakes out. One snake was a royal python while the other was a large albino Burmese python. I didn't have time to go into the attraction its self however I didn't know if anybody knew if these reptiles are kept on show inside the seaquarium or if they are kept off show?

    Thank you.

After being open for forty years, Clacton Pier's Seaquarium will close permanently next month. Arrangements are already being made to find new homes for the 900 individual animals kept on the site.

The decision to close the aquarium was made because it was deemed too expensive to move it and make it larger to meet new higher standards being brought in.
