    Hello all,
I am searching for birth information for Naomi, a female captive bonobo (now deceased) at the Milwaukee Zoo.
I observed her briefly in 1989, with exhibit-mate male Kidogo. In the adjacent exhibits at the time were Maringa, Lody, and Lomako.
I know that Naomi passed away in the early 1990s from a perforated intestine, after eating a piece of plastic.
Please post any birth information that you may have for Naomi!
    Thank you!
    Kind regards to all.

I've found some pertinent info for Milwaukee bonobo Naomi, thanks to a post by "vogelcommando" on 4 May 2014. Most probably Naomi (b. 1982) was with the bonobo group that was transferred following the closing of Wassenaar in 1986.

When I observed her in Milwaukee she was in an exhibit with Kidogo, and a second exhibit had the other Wassenaar bonobos Maringa, Lomako, and Lody.

ZooChat is great! I'm continuing with my digging for information.

    Thanks.
