    I doubt very much than 100 Guardias Civiles has deployed for this emergency :D in any case very bad thing the death of these 3 tigers...nobody (keepers, Guardia Civil) knows the anaesthetics darts?

    I agree it was a very sad incident for all concerned. I admit to being a little amazed as to where they could get so many civil guards so quickly but this is what the reports said.

    As to the use of anaesthetics. It really is not as simple as that. Read

    @ Peter I known how the anaesthetics works, but between the dead possibility of the animal and the sure death shooting I prefer the first option. getting the security measures for all the people involved off course.

    Reports today say that only three of the seven tigers actually escaped. This was due to an employee oversight. The number of civil guards involved does not seem to have been reduced.
