The Shreveport Aquarium is an aquarium that opened in 2017, in Shreveport, LA. The are currently non-AZA but are in the Pathway Toward Membership Program. The facility has many standard exhibits that other aquariums have, including shark/ray and shoreline touch pools, a shark tunnel, and a tropical river exhibit. They also participate in the rearing and release of the endangered American Paddlefish. The aquarium is planning expansions, and recently posted two new exhibits for their rainforest section coming early September. Animals unknown as of yet.
