    Yeah. You are right Jay. I just found the post I was refering to and the person was asking about the gibbon not stating that it did have a disease. I am giulty of doing what I was whinging about. Sorry guys.:eek:

    whilst i agree totally that before making statements we should make sure they be true, i don't see a problem here. boof (and whover originally brought up the topic) asked a question, not state a fact.

    i often say mention things i am not 100% sure about, but i start my sentances with "from memory...." or "i heard that.." or "i could be wrong but...". anyone is welcome to correct me.

    thats okay isn't it?

    lol it was me! now shoot me! but i asked, from memory, for zoopro to prove if the rumour was true or not. i was told that by a manager at a local wildlife park where i was volunteering, and he was studying with a primate keeper from taronga.
    obviously i was over the moon to hear it was untrue.
