Site Rules on Pictures of a Certain Animal Body Part

    Hi all:

    I have a lot of great wildlife photos, but especially of male monkeys, their genitals are in the shot. If I post these photos, does it violate any site rules? Cropping the photos to exclude them is kinda unnatural and ruins the shot of the full animal body.

    So long as it's not gratuitous it should be fine.

    ie if the subject of the photos is the genitals and they aren't just incidental to the photo, then it is likely to be a problem. If in doubt, you could report your own photo after uploading to bring it to the attention of the moderators for their determination.

    I remember that one time I went on ZooChat and one of the photos at the top of the forum list was a close-up photo of a rhino penis so I'm glad that the rules have changed since then.
