According to the North American regional studbook, Lucy was born, approximately, in 1971, and was imported by Six Flags Great Adventure on March 1, 1974. Lucy was imported alongside 1.0 Rip, 0.1 Barbara, 0.1 Debbie, 0.1 Gloria, 0.1 Sheila, and 0.1 Tina.

 

Six Flags Wild Safari, at Six Flags Great Adventure, has apparently changed their name. It's now Six Flags Savannah Sunset Resort and Spa.

 

Looks to be moreso just a new experience rather than a renaming of the entire Safari according to the website. I do see how that name could theoretically be confusing if there are lodges all throughout the park, especially with famous savannah dwelling animals like... Domestic yak. Llama. American black bear. Eurasian brown bear. Amur tiger. However, if it's all centralized within the African reserves, that shouldn't be an issue.

 

That's what I thought too, but they've changed all of their social media to be named after the Savannah thing, and they've removed all mention of wild safari from the website.

 

They updated their website again and changed it to Wild Safari Adventure, with the info about the sections back. The park is going back to using those big trucks, you can no longer drive yourself through. They haven't added the walk-through section back on, though. There's no opening date, other than 2024, so it doesn't appear to be opening the same day as the main park.
