When we visited the zoo in July the Lynx was also visible in his new exhibit as part of the new outdoor area

A spotted hyena was born recently. Unfortunately this created tension between the two females (mother and daughter) and the zoo in collaboration with the SSP decided to euthanise the Mother. Randers now holds a male, female and their new born.

Yes, this is the first cub for Randers Regnskov. Lynx is a fairly new species for Randers. If I remember correct the exhibit opened in 2021

Yesterday just before closing time 2 visitors saw a female South American tapir (Tapirus terrestris) give birth to a young in the deep part of the pool! Soon these two jaguars will leave the park. K'arka, the male, will move to Le parc des Felins next week, there he will be paired with a female named Leila (*2017).
