    information
When night falls, small winged figures with ragged edges soar through the air. They cross the streets of our towns and cities like ghosts. Their long plumes, facial discs and distinctive eyes are designed for life in the absence of light. In old Europe they were always related to legends, covens and superstitions. Their nocturnal habits and being linked to buildings in ruins or of a religious nature did the rest to demonize the nocturnal raptors.

Thousands of these anecdotes and legends travel the different European languages doing a disservice to these birds that thanks to their diet eliminate the pests of rodents and insects from the countryside and cities. The truth is that nocturnal birds of prey have been linked to our homes since ancient times, either in the country or in the city. Benefiting us but feeding these superstitions as well.

The incorporation of new manufacturing materials and the beginning of mechanized mass production introduced substantial changes in the way of working of the peasants. The traditional tools made by local carpenters and blacksmiths began to be replaced by industrially manufactured tools and machines that facilitated and optimized their tasks. In "The barn" they are exposed from plows, tools and various work implements used in other times and that are integrated into an area dedicated to nocturnal birds of prey, inhabitants of many of these places.
