We'll keep our eyes open for the obsession of Zoochatters when we're on our travels tomorrow. Enjoy!
Another really enjoyable event, thanks to everyone who made it happen.
A great day I really enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone involved in organising the event, and a big thank you to the staff who (as always) were fantastic
Had a great day..... Thank you ..
Good to see everyone again (or for the first time in some cases!) and a fantastic event as ever. Absolutely fascinating tours and some great beasties!
An excellent day. I have just been reviewing my photos - I have some that I hope to post within the next few days - and rather more that I cannot publish, but which will enrich my personal collection.
My thanks to the organisers of course.
Would just like to add to the thanks already posted in to the people that made this possible, and the people that made it an excellent, enjoyable and VERY informative day
Yes many thanks SMR for this one, just a pity this was Richards first and last one, with him leaving the zoo in 2 1/2 weeks time!To all those of you not pulled out missed a very good day out,of which you will not get a second chance to do!!!
outside unavoidable pressures will always result in unwanted but necessary withdrawal from any event - it's an overused phrase but I was gutted to miss out :O(
Many thanks SMR+zoogiraffe and Richard Gibson and Colin for making this event another memorable one on the calender. I hope you all enjoyed it likewise!
An obsession of Zoochatters - how wonderfully appropriate
As usual, you Chester people leave the rest of us green with envy. However, thanks to the generosity of my family, I am having an Ape Experience Day in September - part of Paignton's EAZA Ape Campaign - so I won't feel so deprived
I can't add anything to what has already been said. A thoroughly enjoyable day, and excellent work by SMR again.
We had a fantastic day.. it was really nice to meet you all and we will hopefully see alot of you again in the future... it was a fantastic day and i got to do something i have never done in my 22 and a half years... i stroked that snake...! i now want one but den sed no

Zoo giraffe.... enjoy berlin i know i will and i recommend seeing the polar bears being fed! i just love it...!!
thankyou for the informative and fascinating day....!!
Well I must admit, I didn't manage to spot the lesser spotted zoo chatter. We were in and over by the APG's at 10.
Well how easy is it to see a group of zoo chatters that are all stood with cameras...? I mean i do not think i have ever seen any group at the zoo without a camera... I dont go anywhere without mine... even shopping now..! There are just odd moments you have to catch on camera!
Better luck next time!
We were in and gone straight away. Well given the number of people carrying DSLR's in Chester it's not as easy as you would think, we even went past the Fountain Shop around lunch time.
Failed in our search, I bet none of you saw us though. Hope you guys all had a great time, from the few posts i've read it seems to have been a great day.
What are APGs?
Could stand for All the Pretty Gardens.
African Painted Dog's
or African Painted Gogs?
Separate names with a comma.
