    Late last year I did arrange a tour of the bird collection - see http://www.zoochat.com/38/special-event-curator-birds-andrew-owen-189783/ - but I'm sure Andrew will be kind enough to do another at some point in the not-too-distant future.
    The event with Richard was primarily indoors, but at 10:30am everyone was by the aquarium, which is the exact opposite end of the zoo to the African painted gogs. Also, we were all upstairs in the staff canteen above the Fountain Shop, which is not the easiest place to see into from the ground.

    We already have ideas for upcoming events, so watch this space.

    Hmm... The man with the ropes must be more easy going on the APG side, at 10 I was on my starting blocks by th eles waiting for the ropes to be removed!
