    Except this one....

Scientific names are basically correct except some very minor and very few typos.
What surprises me a lot is that Amara aenea is kept in captivity. People that runs insect houses, and normal visitors too, almost always only want giant exotic insects.

@AdrianW1963 , like @Kakapo I'm surprised that Amara aena is kept at a collection like this. Check pictures of Pachnoda marginata, often labelled as sun beetles, and see if this is the species you saw

Really a so gigantic alive butterfly collection can even exist in the world?!?!?! I suppose that it's the list of all the species that they kept in the whole history... Anyway most of them are very rare in butterfly houses!

The scientific name is that of the milkweed, not of any butterfly.

It's the complete list they currently have I am awaiting a list of previous species held at the collection as I have said before this place breeds butterflies for the rest of Europe and for rare breeding programmes around the world it's a little gem that get's very rarely mentioned on here.

Will try and get the correct name from the collection if possible.
