I'm trying to compose a full species list of the "Kleine Zoogdierenhuis" (Small Mammal House) of Artis, which was opened in 1977.

Based on my own visits and zoo guides, I came to the following list:

    Marsupials
    Matschie’s tree-kangaroo

    Xenarthrans
    Two-toed sloth
    Southern tamandua
    Southern tree-banded armadillo

    Afrotheres
    Short-eared elephant-shrew
    Lesser hedgehog tenrec
    Rock hyrax

    Carnivores
    Fossa
    Binturong
    Meerkat
    Dwarf mongoose
    Ocelot
    Margay
    Caracal
    Serval
    Asian small-clawed otter
    Yellow-throated marten
    White-nosed coati
    South American coati
    Red panda
    Fennec fox

    Even-toed ungulates
    Lesser mouse-deer
    Blue duiker

    Rodents
    Indian porcupine
    South African porcupine
    North American porcupine
    Brazilian cavy
    Rock cavy
    Green acouchi
    Red-rumped agouti
    Mountain paca
    Lowland paca
    Long-tailed chinchilla
    Degu
    Gundi
    Prevost’s squirrel
    Rock squirrel

    Euarchontans
    Common tupaia
    Northern tupaia
    Potto
    Gray mouse-lemur
    Ringtailed lemur
    Red ruffed lemur
    Black-and-white ruffed lemur
    Hybrid ruffed lemur
    Pygmy marmoset
    Common marmoset
    Goeldi’s marmoset
    Cotton-topped tamarin
    Emperor tamarin
    White-lipped tamarin
    Golden lion tamarin
    Bolivian squirrel monkey
    Black spider monkey
    White-faced saki
    Owl-faced monkey

Does anyone has any additions to it, especially of species kept in the first decade (1977-1987) of its existence?

Are you making a list of current species or a list of what has ever been housed in there? Cause that isn't really clear

Species kept from 1977 till now, see my question to the Zoochat community below the list. If you look at the list above, it's clearly not a list of current species.

I remember seeing Short-beaked Echidna and Large Hairy Armadillo during my visit in 1992.

Maybe a late response, but I remember seeing crested partridges in the large middle enclosure around 2010-2013.

2 species missing on the list :

    - Collared hill patridge - Arborophila gingica - was signed Feb. 2016 as living in the large middle enclosure with the Ring-tailed lemurs ( I didn't see them however )
    - In the same enclosure on the same visit a large Cane toad seen - it was however not signed. I had uploaded a photo of this one in the Gallery but it seem to be deleted :(.

I forgot the partridge, but the other three species are on my list. Never mind, thanks for your help.
