I know that especially with the Cincinnati Zoo's collection it's difficult, but I'm working on an article and am trying to start collecting as close to as an exhaustive species listing for the zoo.

Can anyone try and help? Thank you all.

Yes, I'm sorry--I should have mentioned that. All of the species listed on their website are already accounted for. I'm looking for species beyond that (which is obviously a significant amount!).

When the ISIS website first came online with the species abstracts I made a hobby of trolling through the species listings and compiling the collections of individual zoos (including Cincinnati). Doing so will make you go cross-eyed and head-achy, but it will give you a (reasonable) approximation of Cincinnati's current collection (at least for the vertebrates).

I do wish ISIS would have an option to display collections and all the species they hold at that time, that would be so much easier

I agree, that would be amazing for all zoo enthusiasts.

However, I think I will have to start looking through ISIS and hoping for some lucky hits.

Like Ungulate I also look at ISIS regularly, One way which I do this is to higlight the collection I am interested in and the just look out for the name in red. Another way is of there is a large listing eg Anas, Macaca I just do a search for the collection name on that page.
