Are there any species that other people call rare (or at least uncommon) that you seem to see everywhere? This winter, I have been seeing Brown Creepers seemingly everywhere, but looking at eBird it seems like no one has been seeing them near me!

To a much lesser extent than the creepers, I seem to see Whooping Cranes more often than other people. While everyone else sees just or two at a time, my record is seven in one day!

Black footed cats. I’ve gotten the perception that they are a rare species in zoos, but I’ve seen them in a couple places already

In my post above, I was referring to wild animals.

American Wood Ducks, but then again, no one else pays attention.
