I believe a new construction project was recently finished at the zoo, does anyone have any pictures or information about it?
What was the construction project? I should be going next month so I could always take pictures of it.
Stone Zoo has announced a new 4 million dollar Caribbean themed exhibit to go near their zoo entrance. It will include Caribbean flamingos, macaws, bush dogs, and a type of endangered iguana (I don’t remember the exact name). It will hopefully open this summer, and they are almost done funding. If anyone is going to visit, I'd love to see pictures of the Caribbean Coast exhibit. It's hard to tell the size of the exhibit from the press releases, and I'm curious if the macaws are free-flying or perch birds.
