Hi all, this is my first post and I'm not sure if I am posting in the right place - but does anybody know if/where I can access any studbooks?

I'm looking for ones that cover the UK/Europe. So far I have found an Orangutan one (from 2015) and a Chimpanzee one (2016) but have not found any others.

Marwell Zoo maintains the International Studbooks for Grevy's zebra, Hartmann's mountain zebra and scimitar-horned oryx and publishes these on-line. See the link below:

    Further to my earlier post:-

Marwell used to publish the studbook for Arabian oryx too; it no longer does so this studbook is not listed on the Marwell internet site but if you Google "Marwell Arabian oryx studbook" you should find some links to old Arabian oryx studbooks.

I know of at least six institutions with Scimitar not on the list. It's interesting to see how complete it is.

It has become a phenomenal task to list all holders both private and zoological facilities in full. Ranches USA nor complete listings for Middle East and North Africa.

Almost all AZA studbooks are available on their website with an AZA membership.
