There appears to be no prefix for this place but took a visit to the centre today.

Nice collection of birds and a breeding pair of Golden Eagles have just arrived are now on show.

They are also expanding to another area, with quite a big expansion into a new area behind the flying zone. This section will hopefully be open for Easter / Summer and will be aimed at Native Wildlife, and there is a big aviary being built for the Golden Eagles and numerous other birds. There will also be exhibits for native wildlife not just birds.

They already have a couple of exhibits (Meerkats, Ferrets and Red Squirrel) as well as a farm section (Bunnies, Goats and Guinea Pigs) on the main site, but they are planning to have more animals, and not just birds.

Some really smart birds they have as well, which were nice to see up close, but a shame not flying today due to the weather.

The extension area, is about half the size of the current site, so it's a big project for the centre.

Had an enjoyable couple of hours there today.
