Sumatran Tigers in Europe

Recent and upcoming transfers:

Female, Aguia (B2009Lisbon) has now transferred from NaturZoo Rhiene to Howlett's

Male, Jae-Jae (B2008SanFransisco) is going to move from London to Ree Park shortly

Female, Nila (BChester2011) has recently moved from Le Pal to Zoo Reynou.

Le Pal is going to receive female, Kinabalu (B2007Fuengirola) from Belfast in the near future

 

I wonder if I missed the post of Karis, London girl?
Karis, female, born 2016 London, was transferred to Heidelberg back on May 2018.
She is meeting male Tebo there.

 

Ree Park (Ebeltoft) - three cubs were born in late September to Gasha and Asim. Their 3rd litter together. I *think* the cubs are two males and a female (2.1) but my Danish is none existent so that might be wrong

So does anyone know if the twins (Born 19/2/2017) from Gasha and Asim's previous litter are still at Ebeltoft? Also do they still hold male, "Whitey" from the first litter?

 

About two cubs born Feb 2017 at Ree Park, I found the info below on internet.

1. Their Halloween 2017 movie shows us just one cub. The comment from Ree Park said that one of twins had died.

I will assume they're (Whitey and 2017 cub) both still at Ree Park until further information comes to light

 

I believe Whitey was euthanized due to his color.

 

Was he a 'white tiger' or something else?

- Does anyone know the parents of OZ (m) and CHANA (f), born 22/11/2004 at Ramat Gan zoo ?
- I read that SYLVESTER was transferred from Amneville (France) to Attica (Greece) circa 07/2016,
but I saw him this weekend at Cerza (France)... The move to Attica is a fiction, or a temporary transfert ?

 

Oz and Chana were born to Alma and Padang.

Padang was born at Amneville in 2000 and Alma came from Haute La Touché (Obterre). I think she was born there but I'll have to check the studbook for her date of birth. Oz and Chana were they're only litter together


Sylvester - it's definitely the same individual? Born at Jerusalem Biblical Zoo in 2009? I had heard that CERZA had a Tiger called Sylvester but couldn't confirm if it was the same Sylvester as the one that went to Attica in 2016.

Strange, nowhere was mentioned a second "Sylvester". I'll try to contact CERZA for more informatins.
Without great conviction, french zoos rarely answer to such requests.
On my FB page, a friend wrote me that Sylvester was recently replaced by another male without specifying the name... I'll verify because I read no announcement about it.

 

Unfortunately all three of the new cubs at Ree Park have died. Not sure what happened but there's a video (in Danish) on the park's Facebook giving an explanation

 

Would it be possible to make a new update of Sumatran tigers in European zoos "2018", the original of the post dating from 2010?

I have one tigre in my database I cannot find where she lives now.

In Welsh mountain zoo there used to be a tigre named Keisha, sister of Kinnara. Does anybody know where she lives now?

Keisha went to Terra Natura Benidorm from Welsh Mountain. They've since gone out of the species... But she hasn't turned up anywhere since so I suspect she may have died.
