Does anyone know the dates and places of death of PAUL (b. 00/00/1987 Krefeld) and ASIKA (b. 06/09/1984 BOCHUM), who lived and mated in the 1990's at Doué-la-Fontaine ?

 

Confirmation that Twycross will soon be receiving female, Jahly from La Boissiere du Dore. Jahly was born on 13th January 2017 to Suma and Kuasa.

She will be joined by male, Sialang from Haute La Touché. Sialang was born on 13th December 2016 to Kasih and Toba

Sialang's twin brother, Tilak will move to Amiens later this year

Twycross - Both Jahly and Sialang (see previous post for background) have now arrived. They are expected to be onshow by mid July

Haute La Touché have also announced plans to renovate and extend their current Tiger enclosure

 

Fota Wildlife Park - A single male cub was born on 25th June to Dourga (Champrepus2011) and Denar (Warsaw2012)

 

I just saw a facebook post of Attica zoo, Greece. It shows us a tiger cub.
Is he/she Sumatran Tiger? If so, does anyone know his/her name and parents name?

 

Thank you for the update AliceLoveTora. The cubs (two of them) are a male and female. They were born 6 weeks ago. Their Mother is Jambi (Born October 2012 at Parken Zoo, Tornarde X Bagus) and the father is Babi/Babira who was born at (the original) Le Parc De Felins back in 2003.

 

The new cubs (1.1) at Attica have been named. The male is Rio and the female is Jakarta

 

Nice to see the newborns of Attica in a good shape and have been named.
Does anyone have infos about BATU (M) (littermate of BABI/BABIRA) ?
No news of him since his birth (17/09/2003 Auneau)...

Tilak et Sialang (sons of Kasih et Toba) are announced to be transferred, one to Amiens (FR) and the other one to Twycross (GB).

I saw a facebook post of Fota Wildlife Park, Ireland.
The cub was named Dash.

 

I'd like to finally clear up a few things about Sarah (i.e. the one born at Berlin Tierpark, who then went on to produce 8 cubs with Filon at Dudley Zoo) as I have found lots of contradictory information about her on Zoochat...

1.) Was she born in 1993 or 1995?
2.) Is her mother Dwara or Dinara?
3.) Is she the full or half-sister to Raika?

Do you know if Aneh (who died 12/11/2008 at Akron Zoo) was related to Kavi (born 2001 at Akron Zoo)?

 

This Facebook post from December 2017 shows Akron zoo relationships - indicates that Kavi was one of the cubs from Aneh and Sobat litter.

Thanks, that’s really interesting. Kavi’s maternal grandmother (Kali) was born at Taronga Zoo in 1985 and they have many relatives in my region. All New Zealand and Australian holders of Sumatran tigers have at least one of their relatives.

Amiens - male, Tilak arrived from Haute La Touché on Thursday

Earlier in the week, Amiens also took delivery of female, Menya (B25/8/2017 - Bawa X Surya). She came from Flamingo Land (Malton) but has been in temporary holding at another French zoo whilst her new enclosure was finished.
