Can anyone confirm that Healsville and Taronga are the only public collections that have Menura superba?

As far as I know, Superb Lyrebirds can also be found at Adelaide Zoo (a male in their Rainforest Aviary) and Rockhampton Zoo (a female in their main aviary).

I’ve never heard of them in captivity (that’s going back 50 years). I’m sure somebody has kept them some time but if it was in a zoo it must have been a long time ago.

Pity, superb lyrebird is one Australian animal which would be really popular in zoos abroad.
