I know it's short notice but I'm hoping to organise a Sydney Get-Together at the Australian Reptile Park this Sunday (9th). Meet at the park around 9:30am. And, of course, anyone on the Central Coast or Newcastle area could join in too. Anyone interested? Hix
I'm interested, but unfortunately I have a prior engagement so won't be able to come. I'll be in South Australia from the 19th December - 12th January, so I'd be keen to get together with people in Sydney later in January perhaps. Hope you have a great time on Sunday.
Is anyone going to the Australian Society of Herpetologists (ASH) conference at the end of January? Its on the Central Coast, not hugely far from the Australian Reptile Park. I might be attending, and if so will definitely include a visit to the reptile park, as well as Taronga and the Sydney Aquarium/Wildlife World. Conference details: The Australian Society of Herpetologists - home page
Sim: Would love to do lunch/dinner sometime in January. As long as I'm not working. zooboy28: Nah, I'm working. Might be interesting though. Hix
While you're up there see if you can encourage these 2 to get it on.... Mood is set to Fiji time but no night of the iguana
Going to a wedding on Saturday and I will not be in a very good way the next morning. : ( On a side note I haven't been to Taronga in over 12 months. So I'm keen to visit there in the new year after the school holidays.
I created a Meetup event for this Sunday to try and drum up a bit more interest. http://meetup.zoochat.com.au/events/94228922/ boof - I think a Taronga meetup early next year is a great idea ... I created a new thread to discuss http://www.zoochat.com/717/taronga-zoo-meetup-2013-a-300453/
Coinciding with the annual combined Herp Society BBQ eh? Should be able to see a behind-the-scenes tour they normally conduct on these BBQ days. Oh and Herp society members get in free too
