I am planning on going to the Rutland Birdfair this year and looking through the events going on I saw this lecture on Friday 16th August, from 4:00-4:20, about the potential role of zoos towards the conservation of UK birds. It seems to be largely about managing the zoo's own land to attract wild birds rather than captive-breeding.
