This has been a long time coming and has been planned for more than 2 years ago. It will be interesting what the entire panda complex looks like and if some more tropical Chinese species might arrive in due course.
Not sure how many Komodo dragons they have at the moment. Their exhibit houses a pair I believe.
The Black-winged starlings which were released on the zoo-grounds are doing fine ! :

Article says he was moved there for medical treatment and it would then be decided whether or not to release him back to the wild. I am sure we all hope this will happen. If not, then I sincerely hope he will be able to breed in captivity and put new genes into the captive bloodline.
Highlight from this March: The breeding pair Komodo dragons Rangga and Rinca at Taman Safari Bogor have produced 14 hatchlings so far (out of a total clutch of 26) as of March 5th, 2017. The staff are awaiting further eggs to hatch in due course.
