Some very mixed news from CWP regarding the Brazilian Tapirs....

Unfortunatly Squidge the female was recently put down due to a severe jawbone infection that resulted in her losing most of her teeth. RIP Squidge.

On a happier note the replacement male for her mate Timmy who died last year arrived in the last week from Spain. No more details as yet.

Did Cotswold have just 0:1 Tapir?, or do they now have 1:1?

They had 1:1 until Timmy died last year and now Squidge has gone they have 1:0 because of the new arrival.

Just heard that the new Tapir is Gomez born 2006 at Longleat. Sorry for the error in the earlier post.
