Oh right, and I gather that has worked quite well? The roadkill feeder seems to have got a lot of attention on here. I haven't seen it yet myself.

Works nice. I prefer the more natural exhibit though as opposed to the human-impacted one.

Also, does anyone know if they plan to eventually add a sea bird aviary to Great Southern Ocean as it seems a bit incomplete. The one thing I did prefer in Melbourne's Wild Sea that I think could be added to GSO is a cuttlefish tank or some coastal fish tanks.

I like your fish tanks idea, using local/southern ocean species but not so much the sea bird aviary idea. I reckon sea birds are better kept out of aviaries and besides you don't have to look far to see wild sea birds around Sydney Harbour!

    So are the orangutans back.
Or will they be interupted by the lemur exhibit.

Walkthrough lemur enclosure sounds like a great idea. I've recently visited Singapore Zoo where they have a fantastic walk through enclosure housing bats, parrots, lemurs, iguanas, a type of dwarf deer and various turtles. Was amazing to walk through, Australian zoo's could really grab some great ideas from that place.

Something on the news last night about how Kimya has already been pregnancy tested but it came back negative. Good starting signs.

Imagine that, government zoo's in Australia being innovative, too much governance and legislation, no room for creativity. Negative but true.

A new female lion 'Cora' has arrived at Dubbo from Mogo to be paired with a new male from New Zealand later this year. I would assume that the original pair 'Jasiri' and 'Njeri' will be a non-breeding pair.

It's the same company that supplied Chester's... they have also loaned to Barcelona, Bristol, Marineland Antibes and various American zoos in recent times. Gather this is the first time they will have been exhibited in Australia though

ya it's Kora. Maybe it was a misprint, or maybe TWPZ decided to change the spelling a little.
