    Hi All,

I'm wanting to do a study on Tasmanian devil tracks and am looking to see whether any zoos or wildlife parks might be willing to work with me on this study.

The study will look at collecting metric data (length measurements) of various aspects of individual Tasmanian devil footprints, as well as elements of devils' gaits. Ideally I'd like to correlate these measurements with the age, weight and sex of the devils that leave the tracks, and ideally I'd like to repeat the exercise on a variety of substrates (eg. sand, mud, different moisture content / depth).

I don't actually need access to Devils directly if there is a keeper willing to generate the tracks - essentially I want to take away high resolution photographs of the tracks where there is a measure/scale in each photo.

If anyone knows a keeper who might be interested in trying this out - even just with one devil to start - that would be most helpful. You can comment here, or send me a private message.

    Much appreciated!

    Chris.
