Hello everyone, I am a recently retired Biology teacher who is waiting for coronavirus restrictions to lift, so that I can continue to chase the 28 bird families I have yet to see in the wild. Of the bird orders, I have seen all but 2 in the wild, and both of those, kiwis and seriemas in captivity; I’ll post the full lists in due course. I’ll also list mammals eventually; think I’m only missing the big three; I think pangolins are the only captive tick in orders. Why Tetzoo Quizzer? Cos I do well at Tetzoocon quizzes! Nearest Zoo, Chester.

Should have been heading to Indonesia via Malaysia today, with targets of Rail Babbler, Hylocitrea, Melampitta and Mottled Berrypecker! And should have gone to Arizona in spring for Olive Warbler.

I am glad you found some missing bird families here in Panama! More than 1000 bird species and I haven't seen most of them.

I knew I recognised the name; indeed your presence here gave me the idea for the name! Hope we can meet up again sooner rather than later.
