Damn!!! I checked Google images and you're right :-( :-( They was at a bird fair in the Prague botanical garden, and signaged as S. vinacea! I lose a species from my photo archive :-( Thanks for the correction! Now it's too late for me to edit my message and put the correct name, could some admin do it? FBBird, I'm sure that you have some nice photos of animal pairs! Would you like to show us them in this thread? 543. Toxotes jaculatrix (Banded archerfish) 544. So that's all from my side. We got 566 photos of animal couples for the Noah's Ark, with roughly the same quantity of species as almost every species was not repeated with few exceptions. But looks like Noah will have a hard work trying to get all animal pairs on Earth before the flood, so I would love to see more contrubutions by other members!!! I'm sure many of the people that read this topic have magnific animal couple images in their files - don't be shy and participate here!
Sorry if my pictures are of animals already represented here. These are my photos: 567. Acridotheres tristis (Common Myna) 568. Columba livia domestica (Domestic Pigeon) 569. Estrilda astrild (Common Waxbill) 570: Ara chloropterus (Green-Winged Macaw) 571. Microcanthus strigatus (Stripey) 572. Trachypithecus francoisi (François Langur) 573. Labroides dimidiatus (Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse
Absolutely great contributions, many thanks for resurrecting this thread all of them are new species for the Ark AFAIK. Tough I don't like the Stripey photo with a poor eyeless fish
