The Potato Thread

    Fingerling potatoes, does anyone like those? I have a recipe for mashed potatoes that is 49 percent butter and cream and calls for la ratte fingerlings. Alas I prefer not to mash my fingerlings, they are just so expensive I prefer to enjoy them roasted whole.

    I've been eating a lot of cherie potatoes recently which are a pretty tasty variety I think.

    BTW, the idea of whipped potatoes instead of mashed is simply abominable (not to mention lazy).

    Fair enough. Even when I was a child I remember thinking the freedom fries thing was totally stupid. (but also hilarious)

    My leopard gecko's name is Potato. :)

    Also French fries, mashed potatoes, potato chips, loaded baked potatoes, etc etc are delicious.

    you should get a pet potato and name it Leopard Gecko. Just to blow peoples' minds.
