Mine arrived today too. A very pleasant read so far. I'm particularly enjoying reading the overview sections of each zoo.

Selling fast, I wouldn't leave it too long, not something you would want to miss out on!

Mine reached me today - only had a quick flick through and read a couple of sections but it's clearly a book not to miss out on. And I'm not just saying that because I have photos in it. Or that it was friends of mine who put it together. Yeah, I'm biased, but can't be helped! ;)

Very readable, just the right balance between factual report and review on the current state of the zoos, excellent and often extensive histories of all the zoos, lots of much nicer photos than mine - fantastic stuff.

My copy arrived this morning - its a lovely book, a credit to John Tuson and Alan Ashby.

I've had a flick through, read some random parts, and looked at a lot of superb images. What really strikes me about something like this is that as useful as online resources are, and they are, there is absolutely no substitute for a good book. The information is just so much more digestible. I can't wait to read it in full, and I highly recommend this book to anyone who is wavering.

(Its also really nice to have a handful of pics in there too - they're in very esteemed company among Zoochat's finest snappers :) )

My copy of this book arrived this morning and I am very pleased to now have this book in my collection.

I had a very quick flick through it but I shall really look forward to getting stuck into reading it properly on holiday and the coming weeks.

I received a copy of the book today for my birthday and I'm sure I'll love it as I was obsessed with the Colchester Zoo book and this book will be informative to me as well as a great read.:)

It’s been a long while since I’ve been active on here, however I’ve been lurking and reading when I can and when I saw this book I had to get it somehow! I showed my friends and as a wonderful birthday present they have brought it for me! I’m already loving reading it!

Question on when purchasing this book, when I select the USA choice, do you then pick between economy postage and US postage? Or do you have to have both selected? It is a little confusing as it automatically add 1 of each to your cart, would this send two books if you continue with both? I apologize as I don't order from out of the US very often.
