There's an abandoned wildlife part about 10 miles from where I live that I would love to explore. Hasn't been open in nearly 25 years.

 

Is it an old Lion Country Safari property? I read there were a few different Lion Country Safari properties that have closed over the years and one was in Texas.

 

Yup it is. One of the various names it had over the years. Never got to visit it before it was destroyed.

 

A shame you never got to visit and that it closed.
