Malacca Zoo If anyone goes to Malaysia , and visits the wonderful city of Malacca , I can recommend the zoo as being a reasonable zoo to visit . I was there about 10 years ago , and it was pretrty good then . ( most of ) the enclosures were of a decent size , and there was a lot of natural vegetation in them , and alot of trees throughout the whole zoo to keep people and animals shelter from the fierce afternoon sun . The zoo would be about the size of Melbourne Zoo in area and is the second best zoo I have been to in Asia ( the best iI have seen in Asia is Singapore ) Apparently Taiping Zoo has undergone extensive improvements since I was there ( which is just as well , as it was a dump with small concrete cages etc) so I cannot comment on its currrent state . I didnt get to KL zoo . I have heard mixed reviews about it .
